Shipping policy

Summer Shipping Rates are in effect from May through September. We recommend you choose USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS 2nd Day Air, FedEx Standard Overnight or FedEx 2-Day, during the Summer months to ensure your package arrives promptly given the high temperatures. In addition, if your shipping destination is above 75 degrees please choose one of the above shipping methods. We cannot guarantee other shipping methods. 

The increase in shipping rates reflects the additional precautions we take to protect your confections in transit. Insulation and ice packs are required to keep the confections cool. This considerably increases the weight of the shipment and in return increases the shipping cost. 

If a shipping method listed above is not selected, we will contact you for an additional payment of the increase in shipping cost and/or and upgraded heavy duty insulated shipper.

We highly recommend that you provide a shipping address where a person is guaranteed to be present to receive your chocolates to minimize the risk of exposure to the sun and heat. 

All in-stock items will ship out within 3 business days of purchase. If your order is placed after 4pm on Tuesday during the Summer months and when shipping to warm weather destinations we will wait to ship out your order until the following Monday to avoid shipping over the weekend as this increases the risk of your candy melting.

We do not ship internationally at this time.

We make every effort to have the freshest and tastiest candy in stock. From time to time we may unexpectedly sell out of an item and in this case we may not have certain items available for your order. In the case something is sold out, we will contact you by phone or email immediately to advise you on when the product will become available again. If we do not receive a response from you within 5 days and the product remains unavailable, all remaining items in your order will be shipped.

Because we hand-cut our delicious candy and procure treats from trusted makers, it may vary slightly by weight and size.

Returns 

All sales are final. We are not able to accept any candy for a refund unless it has been damaged in transit and we have been notified within 3 days of receipt of the damaged product. Once notified, Amy's Candy Bar will, at its sole discretion, replace the damaged product, offer a store credit towards a future purchase, or refund the amount of the purchase. Should Amy's Candy Bar decide to offer a refund, such refund will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within 5 business days upon receipt of the returned candy.
